When I was asked to join the amazing Sizzling Summer Giveaway, I thought it would be fun to try and cast the characters from my New Adult book, No Attachments. Little did I realize what a great undertaking this would be. How do you put faces to the characters you've only seen in your head? With the help of some awesome people and lots of laughter and joking along the way, I was able to settle on a cast that I think best matches my vision for the characters in No Attachments. Let me know if you agree.
"I thought someone was attacking you," the last voice I wanted to hear at the moment said from my bedroom doorway. I was wrong before. This was hell. "That someone would be my jeans." My answer came out muddled thanks to my predicament as heat filled my cheeks.
"Alright, time to stop stalling. Get off your ass and pick up that tall, dark, he-can-have-my-panties-any-day seximist," Tressa said pointedly, looking at the stranger we'd been eyeing for the last fifteen minutes.
USA Today Bestseller
Ashton Garrison walked away from her current life to escape the one thing she is unwilling to face. Love can come when you least expect it. The question is: if the odds are stacked against you, how far are you willing to go for the one you love?

"Are you okay?" he asked, obviously concerned to see my panty-covered ass face up while I tried in vain to hide my face in the wood flooring.
"By okay, if you mean 'would I like to die at the moment?' That would be a resounding yes," my voice came out muffled due to the wood flooring against my face.
Nathan: Dave Franco
"I'm positive," he said, pulling my bottom lip gently into his mouth before releasing it. "It's like learning to ride a bike. Sure, we're going to fall over a couple times, but the important thing is that we keep getting back on," he added, settling his lips firmly on mine. "You willing to give it a ride?" he asked, pulling back.
"As long as you don't fall in love with riding that bike," I emphasized.
"Darling, I'm not going to lie. I'm going to enjoy riding that bike probably more than any other bike I've ever ridden, but I won't fall in love with it," he reassured me, hiking my leg up around his waist. "The question is: Will you fall in love with the bike ride?"
"Are you sure you're up for this, you lightweight?" Brittni asked, placing her hands on my shoulders so she could study me critically.
"I'm fine, Mom," I teased. "I just decided to take the liquid courage route."
"So, you're going through with it?" she asked, looking worried.
"Duh, that was the plan," Tressa chastised.
"I know, but I thought she'd chicken out," Brittni retorted like I wasn't even there.
Tressa: Kat Denning

Fran: Weeza (Shirley MacLaine)
"Honey, at our age, our asses are either boney as hell or a saggy mess of flesh. There's a reason our eyesight goes the older we get."

"Books provide the ultimate getaway for me. A good story is a vehicle that takes you to another place, another time, or another world. I love reading the words and letting my imagination do the rest. I appreciate and respect every author who has the courage to put your work out there for the world to see."
